More than a payoff estimate

Turn the debt numbers into a plan you can follow.

A payoff calculator estimates when debt may be eliminated. This planner goes further by organizing the repayment order, monthly commitment, milestone dates, and practical actions for the first 90 days.

01

Monthly commitment

Choose a realistic monthly amount that covers every minimum payment and creates room for focused progress.

02

Payoff milestones

Review the estimated month each balance may be cleared and when major portions of the total debt may be gone.

03

Action roadmap

Receive clear first steps for scheduling payments, tracking balances, and reviewing progress.

Method and privacy: The planner estimates monthly interest, applies minimum payments to active debts, and directs remaining money according to the selected strategy. Entries are processed in the browser and are not sent to MegaTools.tools.

Optional planning resources

Tools that may help you stay organized.

The digital roadmap gives you the numbers and priorities. These optional physical resources may help you record payments, organize account information, and track monthly progress away from the screen.

Common questions

Debt payoff planner questions.

How is this different from the Debt Payoff Calculator? +
The calculator focuses on payoff time, total interest, and numerical comparisons. The planner creates a monthly roadmap, estimated milestones, repayment priorities, and a first-90-day action plan.
Can I include more than one debt? +
Yes. The planner supports up to eight debts. Enter the name, current balance, annual interest rate, and minimum payment for each debt.
What happens after one debt is paid off? +
The planner assumes the available monthly payment is redirected toward the next active debt rather than removed from the repayment plan.
Are the milestone dates guaranteed? +
No. Dates are estimates based on the information entered. Actual interest calculations, account fees, payment timing, new purchases, and lender policies may change the result.
Does MegaTools save my debt information? +
The planner performs its calculations in the browser. Mobile Tool Mode can temporarily retain progress in the current browser session, but this page does not save the debt information to a MegaTools account.
Do Amazon purchases affect my planner result? +
No. The planner calculation is independent of all affiliate offers. Amazon resources are optional and do not influence the repayment strategy, estimated dates, or results.
